How do I check if my iOS device supports eSIM?
Not all iPhones support eSIM. You can check if your iOS device is compatible in two ways: via your device settings or via our compatibility list.
Check via Settings
Go to Settings
Tap Cellular (or Mobile Data)
See if you have the option Add eSIM or Add Cellular Plan
If you see this option, your iPhone supports eSIM. If you only see "SIM card" or no eSIM option, your device probably does not support eSIM.
Our compatibility list
On the VakanSIM website you will find an up-to-date list of devices that support eSIM. This list is updated regularly. Check the Device compatibility page for all supported iPhones, Android devices and other equipment.
For iOS, iPhone XS, XR and newer are supported, as well as recent iPads with cellular.
